In June 30, 2017, the first three nuclear power unit 1 unit of AP1000 global nuclear power unit announced that the hot test work was all finished, and in July through the first loading before the comprehensive nuclear safety inspection, with loading conditions. However, due to non technical factors, the unit failed to start loading work as planned. In August and October, an expert inspection was carried out on the unit, but they were not approved for loading.
In January 4, 2018, the three and Haiyang nuclear power plant No. 1 unit will be held for the first time. The expert will be organized by the joint national development and Reform Commission of the Ministry of environmental protection, the State Asset Management Committee of the State Council, the Ministry of industry and information technology, the national energy administration and the National Defense Department. The convening of this expert meeting is of positive significance to the progress of the project. According to experience, nuclear power units start from loading to commercial operation usually takes about three to six months or so. After the commercial operation of the three nuclear power unit 1, the technical problems perplexing China's nuclear power project approval will no longer exist.
In January 5, 2018, the Zhejiang provincial development and Reform Commission and the Energy Bureau issued the "Zhejiang power and electricity balance plan of 2018". The plan mentioned in the end of 2017, the provincial power generation installation is 56 million 790 thousand kilowatts at the end of 2017, which is expected to be 59 million 380 thousand KW by the end of 2018, and the newly added three kilowatts are three nuclear power and 2 million 500 thousand kilowatts. There are indications that the AP1000 global first class demonstration unit, one of the third generation nuclear power technology roadmap, will be put into operation in 2018. Although it was 5 years later than the initial expected time of production, the global nuclear power industry, which has been sustained since the 2011 Fukushima nuclear leak, is still an injection of a shot of strong heart.
The breakthrough is now now, nuclear power approval is expected to restart: with the AP1000 demonstration project three nuclear power unit 1, Haiyang nuclear power unit 1 units formally put into operation, the follow-up unit is also expected to be approved to be opened. The three generation nuclear power CAP1400 demonstration project with AP1000 as the technical blueprint is also likely to start construction this year.

By the end of 2017, there were 37 units in the nuclear motor unit in China, and the installed capacity reached 35 million 800 thousand KW. In the construction of the nuclear motor group, 20 units were set up and the installed capacity was 22 million 990 thousand KW. In 2017, only one nuclear power unit started construction. According to the plan, by 2020, China's nuclear power plant and its installed power plant will reach 88 million kilowatts. Compared with the planned target in 13th Five-Year, there is still a gap of nearly 30 million kilowatts in the total installed capacity of nuclear power, and the construction of 24-27 megkw nuclear power stations is still needed to calculate the current three generation nuclear power technology reactor.
With the existing nuclear power construction capacity in China, in order to achieve the goal of planning, we will build a million kilowatt nuclear power unit 6~8 each year in the next few years. At the peak, 40 units will be built at the same time. In the second half of 13th Five-Year, the nuclear power will be developed at high speed.
